This afternoon I asked Kate to pick up some puzzles. She said in a reluctant voice:
"Yes ma'am...I love you Miss Hannigan"
Just for that, we're not having hot mush today....we're having COLD MUSH!

Henry Scott Hutchinson - Covenant Child
Henry was baptized yesterday. I'll upload a picture later but here's the blessing Rick gave him:
Henry,
Your mother and I have brought you before the congregation of God's people today in obedience to Our LORD's commands. May Our God open your eyes enabling you to see His Kingdom and enter it with rejoicing and thanksgiving while seeking to be obedient to God all the days of your life. We named you Henry for several reasons. One of those reasons is because it means "Home Ruler". We pray that our heavenly father will grant you a family over which you will have spiritual responsibility, and that you will find great joy in overseeing the spiritual building of God's kingdom.
In I Chronicles David encouraged his son Solomon as he endeavored to build an earthly physical temple for God, and as I hope to see God use you in building His kingdom, I want to encourage you with the words of David recorded in I Chronicles 28:20 when he says:
"Be strong and courageous and do it. Do not be afraid and do not be dismayed, for the Lord God, even my God, is with you. He will not leave you or forsake you, until all the work for the service of the house of the Lord is finished."
Henry, Your mother and I hope the LORD grants you His salvation and never leaves you until He finishes that work in you. May you seek to be perfect as your father in heaven is perfect all the days of your life while you work out your salvation and live to honor and magnify the name of the God of heaven. And finally, may you fully understand the depth of our love for you and know that we thank God for you.

The Sacrifice
Poor Henry. Apparently it is going to be tough to have big sisters.
We were driving home from church yesterday and heard this from the back seat:
Kate: (talking to Claire) We are going to have a play. I am going to be the Queen(what a surprise), you are going to be the King, and Henry is going to be the sacrifice.

I need ideas!
I've decided to start a summer tradition! We are going to have a "Camp Hutchinson" week. Normally I do one big activity with the children each week (zoo, mcwane center, etc) and we also go swimming a time or two. But for one week, we are going to do something BIG everyday! Rick said he might even take a day or two off of work to join us. SO, I need some ideas of what we can do!
Remember, I have a 3 year old, a 2 year old, and a 7 month old so it can't be THAT big! :) Also, it'll have to be something I can do and still make it home in time for their 1:00 naps. (Trust me...I'll need the nap more than they will.) I've got the Zoo and the McWane center on the list so I need 3 more ideas. Those 2 places might get bumped if I/you can come up with something new.
I'm getting tired just thinking about it but we're excited so please help me out!
